Vineyards, Farms, & Markets

Working farms commonly incorporate agrotourism into their income strategies. They vary in crops—from orchards like Knaebe’s to flower farms such as Lavender Hill. Moreover, Michigan also boasts a wealth of vineyards, breweries, and cider mills. In fact, care and craftsmanship shine through in product quality, whether it’s a fast-growing radish or a finely crafted red wine. Consequently, today’s working farms serve as destinations for weekends, weddings, and fine dining. In this context, I create images that connect people and businesses to your farm, vineyard, website, store, cookbook, blog, or restaurant. Although I am based in Ann Arbor, Michigan, I am available worldwide for remote work. Therefore, if you don’t require my presence on-site, I can work from my studio here in Ann Arbor. Furthermore, for Michiganders and nearby Canadians, I am happy to capture images of your vineyard, produce, greenhouse, or farmer’s market.

Restaurants, Cafes, Bakeries & Hospitality Businesses

High-quality food photography has become crucial, especially as consumers change how they choose where to shop. As a result, I collaborate with restaurants, cafes, bakeries, and hospitality venues to create stunning visuals that showcase your menu, food, and atmosphere. Often, a single glance influences a client’s decision to choose your product or look elsewhere. Thus, make the best first impression with your enterprise.

Food Photography for Brands & Products

Brands typically possess an ambiance, a look, and a style, often meticulously crafted to appeal to clients. Consequently, in photography, I sustain and enhance your branding. I excel in both natural and artificial lighting situations and take pride and pleasure in my extensive prop collection. If I don’t currently own the needed look, I resourcefully find what is required to ensure the photography aligns perfectly with your product or location.

Food Bloggers

As an experienced savory cook and photographer, I visually guide your readers through a recipe step-by-step, providing photography that leads them logically from start to finish. Moreover, I am uniquely skilled with Mediterranean, South Asian, and similar recipes.

Pastries, desserts, & Patisseries in General

Photographers like Vanessa Carraro, who also excel as chocolatiers or pastry makers, set a high standard. Nonetheless, while I can make and often decorate baked goods, intricate patisserie craftsmanship isn’t among my skills. Many food photographers enter the field as recipe developers, like Meg of Basil and Bay Photography; however, this is not my specialty. Instead, I focus on making your skills and products look exceptional, and I would be delighted to do so. After all, few things surpass a visual masterpiece of chocolate.

Rates

Food photography varies greatly in size and elements; therefore, I base all estimates on the full project scope. I am always happy to prepare a proposal for potential clients. Moreover, costs consider factors such as location, food preparation, styling, props, and timeframe. I provide contracts for all clients. As a starting point, my basic rate begins at $150.00 per hour.
